WESTERN TOWN

This project intended to create a modular environment kit based on an existing piece of concept art and then use those pieces to recreate the scene inside of Unreal Engine 4. I also learned how to combine procedural and atlas texturing techniques by experimenting with different UV channels.

Development time:  approximately 100 hrs

Priority Plan

The set is built to a one-to-one scale, and the high-priority assets are built following the power of two measurement. Pivots are positioned at corners that are easy for grid-snapping. Bigger structures like walls and doorways were demoded. Vertex Painting was used for the ground, and floors.
